The White House, Washington-President Barack OBama and The First Lady, Michelle OBama on June 22, 2009 announced the "United We Serve" nationwide call to service challenge. This is a call for all Americans to volunteer this summer.
June 22 was the offical kick off of "United We Serve", to build a new foundation for America. The First Lady, Michelle OBama is calling on every American to participate in "United We Serve". The Call to service doesn't end this fall, the new foundation for America will be built one neighborhood at a time.
