Movie Review: Quantium of Solace

Quantium of Solace is a PG-13 Rating, it is not due to sexual content, there are a lot of fight scenes.

Quantium of Solace is action packed but the plot of the movie is not well defined. Quantium of Solace is entertaining and worth the money of a movie ticket.

The material jungle drones on without the slightest clue

Castoff luxuries all stored in lines of plastic barrels

Cans and broken fetishes are the only objects of value

None notice when a child dies among the mound's perils

A life of lost value destined to find others waste

Cathy M. Navin: Poet "I Saw His Face"

Cathy M. Navin, at the International Society of Poets 2008 22nd Annual Poetry Convention and Symposium held in Las Vegas, Nevada, displayed her Nurturing Poetry and featured her poem "I Saw His Face":

It was just one moment, when I saw His face

A moment of grace, and lasting embrace

A gift I cherish

When I'm  in trouble, and tough times comej0422982

I see His face, and all is calm.

My journey to the other side was all to brief

I longed to stay with my Maker, you see

When we can't make sense of things,

and life's climb becomes too hard,

I stop and call on the moment of grace

a fracture of a minute, when I saw His face

Then, like warm water covering me in baptism,

the symbol of dying with Him,

being resurrected with Him,

and walking with Him gives a peace of mind

to surpass all understanding of any mind.

His face, so illuminated my mind and heart.

I know my Father is near, we're never apart!

The California School System: What Can Improve It?

 j0262840

You have an opportunity to share your opinion. The Thursday, July 17, 2008 Los Angeles Times Front Page reads: "1 in 4 quit high school in California".

The school system wants to re-boundary the school districts. Remember, the schools get money from property taxes. How will that effect the local schools. Some live in nice homes, but their property taxes are not that high.

A wonderful   local school could decrease in funding and other things may drop, like test scores, graduation rates, and attendance rates.

Are the schools  using technology to improve the school system. Most need computer skills to succeed after graduation. Are the schools teaching the skills necessary for success? Why graduate if it does not lead to success?

A Psychic of the Super Stars

j0427753 As a psychic of the super stars, you find out that some people have  problems that you are not able to help them with.

I have received emails & phone calls that tell me the years I spent in school learning theories is not in vain, I may not be the person that can help them.

May the Almighty God Bless them with the help and support they need

&

May the Almighty God Bless me with the support and protection to stay away from their problems and evils.

There are many religions and individuals practice many types of "Hokie Bokies" (my words that include all the practices).

I only accept prayers from the true God of the Living and the Dead, Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior.

Many of the Tabloid papers talk about these religions. God Bless all of you!

Psychology of Self

Disposition vs. Situation. How individuals respond innately and how individuals respond to situations.

  1. Disposition is a natural characteristic of tendency to act in a specified way.
  2. Situational is a combination of circumstances, the way something is positioned.

How do you respond to life? Do you look at the situation an respond or do you respond to every situation in a very similar way.

Judgement about how rigid or flexible individuals are include a look a disposition vs. situation.

During your summer vacation, take to do self-help. Learn the Psychology of Self:

  • Improve relationships
  • Improve opportunities for advancement at work
  • Improve opportunities to meet new people
  • Improve how others view you
  • Improve chances for recommendations

You may not be able to control the world, "But what can you control?"

Do We Feel Safe As Americans?

In the past, as Americans, we did not worry about being attacked in the US. I lived in Oklahoma when the Federal Building there was bombed. After that, I did not have the same feelings of security, that I had before that.

The New York bombing reinforced that feeling of terror for me. A precipitating event has occurred that, not only cost US Americans Police and Fireman's lives, but also started a financial problem that most don't think about.

My first thought about the New York bombing was that most of the major companies had offices and important documents there. Terrorism is not only mental and physical, but it is also financial.

May The Almighty God Bless Us!
