Congressional leaders are reviewing the final language of an agreement that would avert a federal government shutdown, Capitol Hill aides said Friday night. The deal would result in more spending cuts to the federal budget and would continue federal funds going to Planned Parenthood. House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid face a midnight Friday deadline to reach accord, to avoid the government running out of money.
