Attempted Murder Suspects Sought

The Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Olympic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects and vehicle whose images were caught on surveillance video during a shooting in the mid-town area of Los Angeles.

On March 9, 2011 , at around 3 : 30 p.m., two suspects walked up to a male victim in his 20s and shot him multiples times in the 1700 block of South Ardmore Avenue. The suspects then ran into an awaiting ‘90-‘95 Ford Mustang, white with flame designs on the doors, where two additional suspects were waiting inside. The victim was injured from the shooting, but his injuries were not life threatening.

The two suspects who did the shooting were described as Hispanic men in the age range of 16 to late 20s. They were about 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed around 140 to 160 pounds. They were last seen wearing dark-colored baseball caps . The two suspects who were waiting in the Ford Mustang were described as male Hispanics, 20 to 25 years old, with spiky hair. Detectives are trying to understand what prompted the shooting.
