Freeway Lane Closures in the Los Angeles, California Area

Starting tonight for 2 weeks btwn 9pm and 6am 405 FWY Northj0399720 btwn 10 FWY and 101 FWY HOV, lane 1 and 2 will be closed.
As part of the pre‐construction activities for the I‐405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project, the Contractor is required to ensure the drainage system along the freeway is clean and clear. Beginning the night of Monday, February 1, 2010, CCTV cameras will be used to document the existing condition of the drainage system on the freeway. Drains will be cleaned and the grates will be welded down.
What: Freeway lane closures.
When: Night time work for freeway lane closures will begin the night of Monday, February 1, 2010 for two weeks, weather permitting. This activity will take place around 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The freeway will remain open to thru traffic.
Where: Northbound and southbound San Diego Freeway (I‐405), between the Santa Monica Freeway (I‐10) and the Ventura Freeway (U.S. 101). Work will be contained to the HOV/#1/#2 lanes.
What to Expect:
• Freeway will remain open to thru traffic.
• Access to all on‐and‐off freeway ramps will be maintained.
• Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
