Breaking News Alert: Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) to retire in 2012
March 7, 2011 2:33:18 PM
----------------------------------------

Ensign, who was first elected to the Senate in 2000, badly hamstrung his political prospects when he acknowledged, in June 2009, that he had carried on an extramarital affair with a former staffer.
