18-Year-Old Missing Man

LAPD is looking for a 18-year-old missing man from WLA area
18-Year-Old Missing Man

Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the family of Ilya Martynov are asking for the public’s help in finding the 18-year-old man.

On February 24, 2011, at about 4 p.m., Martynov was last seen by his family in the 3200 block of Oakhurst Street in LAPD’s West Los Angeles area. According to detectives, he told his mother that he was going to the bank and never returned home. He has not been in contact with his family and he has also missed his school and work obligation which is very out of character for him. His family is extremely concerned for his wellbeing.

Martynov is a male White of Russian descent with blonde hair and grey eyes. He stands about six feet and one inch tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black shoes. He has a small birthmark on his right hand and another birthmark on left cheek. Martynov is also known to frequent the areas of Cedar Sinai Hospital and Santa Monica City College.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Martynov is asked to call LAPD Missing Persons Unit Detective Ciuffetelli at (213) 996-1800.
